The Inventioneers Win the Champions Award at Local Tournament.
"The Champion's Award is the most prestigious award that any team can win. It celebrates the ultimate success of the FIRST mission and FLL values. It measures how the team members inspire and motivate others about the excitement of science and technology, solve problems, and demonstrate respect and gracious professionalism to everyone involved in the competition.
To be considered for the Champion's Award, teams must perform well in the equally weighted technical and team presentation categories." (Description from the First Lego League website)
The Inventioneers were awarded top prize at the tournament held at Daniel Webster College in Nashua. As part of the team's commitment to gracious professionalism, they volunteered to be a replacement team. It was an exhibition round for the Inventioneers but nevertheless, they earmed the top overall table score of 335.

It measures how the team members inspire and motivate others about the excitement of science and technology, solve problems, and demonstrate respect and gracious professionalism to everyone involved in the competition.

The Inventioneers are now the top-ranked team in the state of New Hampshire for the second consecutive year and will represent the state at the International Tournament in Altanta April 17-19, 2008.

The Inventioneers Win an International Research Award in Atlanta
The Inventioneers proved themselves at the World Festival held in April 2008 at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta Georgia by bringing home an Innovative Solutions Award for their patent-pending thin film solar design.
They were also considered for technical award for the unique design of their LEGO robot. Despite the tornado damage the Georgia Dome suffered, the entire International Tournament went smoothly.
